Here are a few shots from last weekend’s girlie trip to Paris where the sun shone and where we managed to squeeze in champange, shopping, culture and discussing our new business venture Rate-a-Waiter. (wink, wink girls)

hotel du petit moulin ParisWe stayed at the lovely Hotel du Petit Moulin, designed by Christian Lacroix and situated in the very trendy Le Marais. The hotel used to be a bakery and it still has it’s original shop front.

I am now officially in love with Le Marais and if I have a sudden windfall I will most definitely be buying an apartment here. Ahh sweet dreams.

Paris ShopsSo many beautiful shops in Paris, I should have taken more snaps. This little jam shop caught our eye. I took a couple of jars home for our pancakes.

Le Marche des Enfants Rouges - Paris MarketThe aroma coming from this market was heavenly. And the colours so vibrant. Le Marche des Enfants Rouges is apparently the oldest food market in Paris, also situated in the northern part of the Marais.

Paris street art

Snapshots from ParisWe visited some lovely bars and restaurants including Jules and Jim, 404 and we had to try Hotel Costes where it really was worth paying through the nose for a glass of champange just to be served by the beautiful wait staff (as Anastasia Steele would say “oh my“).

Thanks again girls for a fantastic time!
